In every country, training, developing and nurturing the talents of individuals are a great asset to sustaining a robust economy. With this motive, TIAST Group is set to champion the course of localization where more locals will be trained to manage and operate the 1,000 factories set to be established in West Africa. To achieve this, we have the vision of training more locals, especially graduates from various Universities who studied courses in engineering that can be applied in the factories to be set up.
Partnership with Universities
With a key focus on delivering our goals through localization and standardization, TIAST Group seeks to develop a localized team where more locals will be trained to be able to fully operate the processing machinery.
In view of this, TIAST Group is partnering with Universities in Ghana who offer engineering courses which will be beneficial to the company’s agenda of building 1,000 factories across West Africa in the next 10 years.
In order to make this vision a reality, TIAST Group has started signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with these universities with the aim of promoting social change through education and professional training of students and other interested parties to be change makers in the agricultural industrialization agenda. With a deliberate and practical approach to this agenda, TIAST Group in partnership with its key stakeholders and the various universities is working towards reducing the rate of unemployment in the country and West Africa at large.
Currently, TIAST Group has partnered with the University of Ghana School of Agricultural Engineering, KAAF University and University College of Agriculture and Environmental Studies. In partnering with the various Universities, TIAST Group organizes a ten (10) weeks intensive certificate Strategy Master Class for interested students of the University.
This program is industry tailored to guide the students to have a broader perspective on the benefits of Agriculture Industrialization. As part of our alliance with various partners, TIAST Group will invite experts from different fields to train interested students.
The under-listed services will be provided by TIAST Group, and they will help in promoting and developing the agricultural sector by the use of skilled labour.
- TIAST Group will give the top five (5) students the opportunity to enrol on TIAST Group National service program upon completion.
- TIAST Group will ensure that students get the opportunity to be mentored by our professors from our partner universities in China.
- TIAST Group will connect students to clients that have commissioned factories, in order to breach the unemployment gap.
- As part of this program, TIAST Group will create an avenue for technical field visits for interested students.
- In addition, a strategy training session will be organized by TIAST Group. The aim is to equip students with a broader knowledge on what is expected of them in the job market.
TIAST Group will make scholarship packages available to brilliant and well deserving students of the university that complete our training program. We look forward to having you on board.
