The Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA) is the lead agency and focal point of the Government of Ghana, responsible for developing and executing policies and strategies for the agriculture sector within the context of a coordinated national socio-economic growth and development agenda. The Ministry helps the mission of TIAST through it’s the implementation of the Planting For Food and Jobs programme, which ensures that there is a bountiful source of raw materials for potential clients of the company. Their expert contributions during the company’s conference have also been an invaluable asset.

The Ministry of Trade & Industry is the lead policy advisor to government on trade, industrial and private sector development with responsibility for the formulation and implementation of policies for the promotion, growth and development of domestic and international trade and industry. The Ministry which is in charge of the governments push to industrialize Ghana through the flagship 1 District, 1 Factory project is the catalyst behind TIAST’s presence in the country.

GEPA

The Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) is the lead national Trade Promotion Organization established by NLCD 369 in 1969 as an agency of the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MoTI) cloaked with the mandate to develop and promote Ghanaian exports.

GEPA gives important and ideal exchange data to buyers keen on enduring quality products from the country. They however, assist to make well-informed decisions on doing business in Ghana. The Authority links buyers to Ghanaian exporters and focuses on diversifying Ghana’s export base.

Eastern Regional Coordinating Council ​

The Eastern Regional Coordinating Council (ERCC) ably headed by the Regional Minister, Hon. Rita Akosua Awatey, also exists as an arm of the Executive to provide quality Administrative and Technical Services to Ministries, Departments, Metropolitan, Municipal, District Assemblies, Agencies and Non-Governmental Organizations through monitoring, coordinating and evaluation of the activities in the region. Through the Eastern Commodity Satellite Market, ERCC and TIAST Group came together to push the vision of agricultural industrialization in the region. Through the alliance created, ERCC and TIAST would add value to crops in the region for agricultural growth and development.

Central Regional Coordinating Council ​​

The Central Regional Coordinating Council (CRCC) exists as an arm of the Executive to provide quality Administrative and Technical Services to Ministries, Departments, Metropolitan, Municipal, District Assemblies, Agencies and Non-Governmental Organizations through monitoring, coordinating and evaluation of the activities in the region. CRCC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TIAST Group to industrialize the agricultural sector through a collaborative effort. The aim of the partnership also seeks to see to the establishment of agroprocessing factories across the region. CRCC and TIAST are poised to see the realization of this project in a few years to come.  

The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the leading business association representing the interests of enterprises across all sectors of the Ghanaian economy with responsibility for advocating, promoting and protecting commercial and industrial activities in the country. The Chamber serves as a key facilitator for private sector growth and international business collaboration through policy dialogue, trade facilitation and capacity building. The Chamber, which plays a central role in strengthening Ghana’s business climate and fostering public-private partnerships, is a driving force behind creating opportunities for both local and foreign investors.

Oti Regional Coordinating Council

The Oti Regional Coordinating Council is the highest administrative authority in the Oti Region, mandated to coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the implementation of government policies, programs, and projects across all districts. With responsibility for promoting effective governance, development planning, and service delivery, the Council works to ensure balanced socio-economic growth and improved living standards for the people of Oti. The ORCC, which plays a central role in aligning local initiatives with national priorities, is the driving force behind sustainable development and inclusive progress in the region.
